Aspen Photography: A Counter-Cultural Revolution

Anderson Ranch CEO Peter Waanders joins photography historian Rupert Jenkins for a conversation exploring Aspen's enduring legacy as a center for photography. Together, they will trace the evolution of the region's photographic history—from the landmark 1951 Photography Conference at the Jerome Hotel and the influential Center of the Eye workshops of the 1960s and 1970s to the internationally recognized photography program at Anderson Ranch today. Along the way, they will highlight the artists, ideas, and creative community that have shaped Aspen into one of the country's most important destinations for fine art photography.
